Calling Graphic Design Artists
We’re looking for a Triangle-based artist or artist team to design a bus wrap that will inspire and delight thousands in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, whether they ride the art bus or see it driving by.
We’re looking for a design that’s eye-catching and fun — that inspires creativity and celebrates community. We value inclusion, experience, and understanding, and encourage art that reflects these values.
The final design will be printed on adhesive vinyl and wrapped around a Chapel Hill Transit bus by a contractor. That means that you must be able to deliver the final artwork as a high resolution vector file (.ai or .eps). You’ll need to use the printer’s specifications and template. The design will be on display for about two years.
STIPEND: $2,500
ELIGIBILITY: Reside within a 40-mile radius of Chapel Hill
DEADLINE: 5 p.m. Monday, March 20
