The annual Carrboro-Chapel Hill Community Holiday Parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 6. Enjoy music, dance ensembles, and local traditions from more than 40 community groups!
As a Town employee and a member of participating chorus group Voices, Christina Strauch sees the parade from two unique perspectives. “Experiencing the magic of this parade from the operational side inspired me to get my choir involved,” Strauch says. “Now I get to share the magic of the holidays as a participant, bringing the art and joy of choral music to the streets of Carrboro and Chapel Hill.”
The parade begins at 501 West Weaver St. in Carrboro, travels along Main St., continues onto Franklin St., and ends at 140 West Franklin St in Chapel Hill.
