Yep, you read that right. We’ve partnered with Chapel Hill-native Saxsquatch to bring the weird back to our town.
Invade Saxsquatch’s hometown! We’re hosting a flash mob at the 100 block of East Franklin Street (right beside Top of the Hill), where you’ll have the chance to dance alongside Saxsquatch. Once the flash mob ends, make your way to the 140 West Franklin Plaza for a live DJ, community, and the chance to snag the Saxsquatch swag of your dreams.
This free event is family-friendly and open to all ages.
What to wear
What do you believe? Fairies, elves, extraterrestrials, and so much more. We’re calling all cryptids to join us. Come dressed as the creature you think is out there.
What’s the cause?
In true Chapel Hill fashion, we’re doing all of this to benefit one of our local organizations: PORCH Chapel Hill-Carrboro.
Do your part by bringing a can of nonperishable food to the event. A temporary drop-off location will be available at the flash mob. PORCH will also be accepting donations at their table at the 140 West Franklin Plaza.
