SATURDAY APRIL 26, 2025 | 2-4 PM
Bolin Creek Greenway (see details below)
After the Magical Hill Arts and Adventure Festival, enjoy art along the Bolin Creek Greenway by viewing six new sets of murals and meeting the artists who created them!
What to expect
This is a self-guided tour where you’ll walk or roll at your own pace. Artists will be stationed at their murals from 2-4pm to talk about their work and answer questions, including Sarah Lasater, Kiara Chatterjee, Mayanthi Jayawardena, Eli Flo Art, and J Massullo. You’ll also see art by Jesse White and Molly Chopin. There’s a total of 21 new murals — yes, you read that right!
Where to start
Start at the Chapel Hill Community Center trailhead to pick up information about the artwork. We’ll be on site with Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation to welcome you to the trail.
Distance
The greenway covers 2.2 miles one way from Chapel Hill Community Center to Umstead Park (4.4 miles roundtrip). The new murals don’t span that entire distance, but if you make it to Umstead Park, you can check out Renzo Ortega’s basketball court mural.
Getting here
We encourage you to bike to the trailhead, as parking at Chapel Hill Community Center is limited.
This program is free and open to the public. Learn more about Magical Hill here.
