Pride Month is right around the corner! Once again, Chapel Hill Community Arts & Culture and Downtown Chapel Hill Partnership are looking for a Triangle-based artist or artist team to design and install temporary artwork for the 140 West Franklin Plaza in downtown Chapel Hill. Artwork should celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride and will activate the plaza during Chapel Hill-Carrboro Small Town Pride this June.

Possible media include sculpture, installation, imagery on the ground plane, or something else entirely. The final artwork must be highly visible, celebratory, and have a safe, maintenance-free lifespan of one month.

Local artists who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community are strongly encouraged to apply.
