About CHPAC

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission is to enhance and enliven the community through public art.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BOARD MEMBERS

Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission board members are appointed by the Chapel Hill Town Council for a term of three years. Board members may serve two consecutive terms and then may be reappointed after an absence of one year. Board members of the CHPAC are responsible for:

  • advising Chapel Hill Town Council on art related issues
  • promoting public appreciation of the arts
  • ensuring that the CHPAC pursues its mission as defined in all governing documents
  • determining the overall direction and development of the CHPAC through proper governance and strategic planning.
